I have come into an issue with the Logitech controller for the PS3. I own 2 of them right now and neither one of them are being recgonized by the PS3. This is something that recently has accured. I have tried doing a hard reset to the PS3 and still nothing.
When I turn on my PS3 it tells me to connect a controller to the USB even though there is one there. I have held the dogle button and the PS button on the controller. I am really lost on what is going on here.
Also God of War III has major issues with this controller. When running it would stop then go stop then go.

|b1lk1||I'm no real help other than to state I bought one of these for my PS3 for my kids for Christmas and have yet to run into an issue. I kinds wish I got an official Sony unit, but I do love my Logitech peripherals. Try sending Logitech a support ticket and you may get some official hep.|

God of War III
My controller isn't working properly I don't think. When you open the orb chests you hold down the R1 button for a couple of seconds and when I do that it acts like its on rapid fire it keeps trying to open the chest then stops and starts again, over and over is there something wrong with the way I am using it or what. Oh by the way I have a Logitech Cordless Precision controller! Any advice would be helpful!

Mad as hell!
I have returned this twice already because all the controls get messed up. I cant even use the analog sticks. This has happened twice. I am returning it and spending the extra 10 bucks. Way more worth it.

|Rob Williams||Let me know how you make out... I'm very curious to know if that's going to work or not.|

|Unregistered||Alright, thanks man. I'll try it with a regular bluetooth dongle then go to that site.|

I contacted Logitech, but they just told me to go to http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/595/&cl=us,en and get official support. I honestly have no idea if any Bluetooth dongle could be used, but I don't see why not. All of the information is stored in the gamepad after all, not the dongle.

I lost the Dongle that came with this. Will any other Bluetooth Dongle work? Or where will I have to buy one separately and what is it?

|Gobbomob||Yeah, this controller got it's quirks. No Sixaxis, still requires USB receiver. On the other hand, I prefer putting in batteries to the controller. I use rechargeables, anyway. Also, I got this controller to play fighting games because I find this controller's d-pad is perfect for pulling off special moves in fighting games like street fighter & guilty gear ( I own a 60GB Ps3 that plays Ps/Ps2 btw).|

i just wanted to know if the logitech cordless prescion controller's L2 and R2 buttons are really that bad? and does work for games such as smackdown vs raw and call of duty 4?

|Rob Williams||That is incredibly odd, given how much support Logitech has given to the game. Thanks for the heads-up.|

I also bought this controller as an addition to a new PS3 with GT5 Prologue pack.
It didn't work with the game, as the previous poster states, so I took it back and swapped it, thinking I bought a faulty one. Turns out the second one didn't work either.
Turns out, despite Logitech being involved in the production of GT5 (you will see the Logitech sysbol in a start up screen!) - the controller doesn't entriely work.
Logitech themselves don't not have an explantion/excuse/reason on their website.
Don't buy it and pay the extra for the Sony original.
