Rob Williams Alright, that's nonsensical. You're setup as a promoted user, and I cross-checked with other registered users who have the ability to post, so I'm a little confused. I'll run some maintenance scripts and hope that fixes things.

MeBe So this is weird. I was able to reply to this thread, but when I replied to the thread with the networking problem question, I'm again pending mod approval.

MeBe Hey, no problem. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss a step or my new post window session timed out and never made it to the server.

Rob Williams As I mentioned in that thread, we were slow on that one. In order to go see which posts are awaiting moderation, we have to go into the moderation queue... and sometimes we forget to when other things are hogging our attention. Unfortunately, vBulletin doesn't make it obvious from within the forums itself, only the moderation queue. I need to remember to check our "new posts" section instead which would have quicker pointed that out.

Again, sorry for the wait, and welcome to the forums!!

Does every post need to be approved by a mod, or just your first?

I signed up a few days ago and posted the same day to answer someone's question related to a networking problem. I haven't seen my post approved yet. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I didn't hit a button on the next page after posting or missed a step somewhere.

Hate to double post if I'm just pending mod approval.

Anybody know? I guess If I can't get this to post either than all of the forum areas are locked out for me and I'm just talking to myself.
