Seems these beta keys don't actually get you in the beta.

Err... what??? Going to e-mail NVIDIA that quote.

Edit: It seems that the developer -moved- the dates that these codes will work for... for some reason. NVIDIA is looking into it.

I received no such email. Thanks toad! I have it marked to play this weekend. I find it stupid we have to login to the game to adjust our game options, hello 1998 MMO!

I'm glad these codes can be used, then. It seems this dev really doesn't know how to handle pre-launch beta events, especially since it couldn't keep NVIDIA, which it gave thousands of codes to, in the loop.

Sigh.

Welp, I tried to play it today and every time the game launched it says it failed to connect to the authentication server even thought he launcher would log me in. I have everything setup on my end correctly, so I can only assume that the game is either down which I cannot verify on the forum or it's because of the key issues mentioned previously. Either way the POS is uninstalled and I will not look back at that game until after it's released, maybe not even then. This is the worst beta I've seen in a long time and Trion should be ashamed that it's being allowed to happen.

Agreed. And it's unfortunate because I found the launch of Rift to be rather painless.
