From the Long-overdue Files: Updated Site Tables

While it might seem like a simple change, we unveiled an update to our tables in today's review of Intel's DZ77GA-70K, and we invite everyone to have a look and offer feedback. While I don't think our previous tables were that horrible on the eyes, I believe these updates are a major improvement. They're more "modern" and easier on the eyes. Here's an example, pulled straight from the review:

Our previous tables (example here) had similar fonts and font sizes to the updated tables, thin black borders and a white background color for the data. In our update, we did away with the borders, added an easy-on-the-eyes gray for the data background, and in the tables that warrant it, a darker gray highlight for the best result of the bunch.

I doubt it'll be argued that our new tables look better than our old ones, but we'd love feedback to make sure that you agree. Thanks to the magic of CSS, tweaking and updating the style is a painless endevor, and truthfully, even we may not be completely done fine-tuning them. By all means, speak up if you have an opinion!

IMHO I'd use the aqua in the tables rather than the mustard color. Take that as you will though because I'm just not a big fan of mustard.

I like we see more raw numbers in a cleaner format.

@madmat: at least it isn't ketchup. (c;

We tried blue of different shades but couldn't find one that was "perfect", where the text would come through fine without making your eyes bleed. I also like orange because it's the primary color of the site; blue is secondary.

Still might have to mess around with colors, but I personally love the orange.
