I'll repeat what I posted because I think its important for this system:

*pats Rob on the head*

Somehow I think we'll manage to forgive you...but it will take time...or a new rig.

This has been very traumatic.

What if its used for FFXIV, Tera, or Blade and Soul....still MMOs, but they look very very pretty....

....I want to play one of these, but am having such a hard time choosing between them....not going to be playing more than one MMO in a single year....

The last time I checked, even the best gaming PCs couldn't be powered with hopes and dreams (not yet, at least), so to make sure that the PC we give out has ample stability and a long life, Corsair has donated its 850HX 850W Power Supply. We currently use Corsair PSU's in most of our testing machines, and as you can see from my signature, I also use one in my own machine as well. I can definitely attest to their quality.

Powering a PC is one thing, but if it explodes due to heat, that's a problem. To make sure that never happens, Corsair has also thrown in its H50 liquid CPU cooler. Bill took a look at this last fall and absolutely loved it. The best part? It's extremely silent, despite having superb cooling ability.

We've already covered audio in this thread, with the help of Logitech's surround sound X-540 speakers and high-end Ultrasone DJ1 PRO headphones, but what good are good speakers and headphones with on-board audio? Sure, it's getting better all the time, but nothing beats a discrete card that's designed for the most precise and clean sound possible. Enter the Xonar D1 from ASUS. Yet again, the Xonar is something that some of the Techgage staff can boast about from real experience, since we own one, and love it.

Though we're touting this as being a gaming PC, no one wants to game all the time, and we understand that. So what else is there, besides browsing the Web and doing work? Watching movies, of course. That will be made much easier with both an ASUS DVD-RW drive and BD-ROM drive. That's right, out of the box, you will be able to watch crystal-clear Blu-ray's in 1080p. Weee.

ah yes, these ones look gorgeous. The problem with WoW is that the minimum requirement is a Radeon 7200. lol. I think I had that card 9 years ago.

The first contest I ever entered on TechGage was the site's 3rd b-day contest. It's really hard to believe that two years passed already. This PC is turning out to be quite the beast.

Good luck to everyone and Congrats on 5 years Rob.

I'm going to take a stab at the case - Cooler Master 690 II Advanced.

The image is a bit too blury to see the silver accents that run down the side but I -think- I see a CM logo. At least I know the monitor is an Asus thanks to the same spash screen they always use.

I think it was werty or CLoNi who guessed Corsair 800D last time before the crash and after looking at the photos I would agree since it looked full tower.

The case I'm really hoping it has is the Silverstone RV02 they reviewed quite a while back. That case just screams quality, and I like how the motherboard's mounted. If I were to win it, I might just buy that case and mail someone the other one.
