Thanks Techgage and iBuyPower for a sweet contest.

What six aspects of computing and technology have made your life easier and more enjoyable?

1. Gaming - I played my first MMO (Lord of the Rings Online) and had an absolute blast. I know it's playing with strangers separated by hundred and sometimes thousands of miles but all became a sort of family. Helping each other get raid gear, accomplish goals to bump up stats and my favorite, drunken raids. We may wipe but we had fun doing it. It's always easier to swallow a 6 or 7 gold repair bill when you have already swallowed 6 or 7 beer.

2. Banking - You try waiting in a line up with a squirmy 11 month old and let me know how it goes.

3. Communication - My wife and I are able to give updates and send pictures of our son to family no matter where they are and I have also been able to keep in touch with friends who have moved away, some as far as Japan!

4. Entertainment - I Can Has Cheezburger, YouTube, Something Awful, Ask A Ninja, Fail Blog...you name it, it makes me laugh.

5. Information - Being able to access information on just about any topic so long as you take most of it with a grain of salt is great for someone like me. Whether it is reading up on World War II events (a hobby of mine) or getting hardware, software or overclocking information, it's all here.

6. Computers themselves - Don't understand what I mean? You would if you were to look at how much time I tinker with it. If I am not in the BIOS trying to get a higher stable overclock or grabbing a new piece of software for benchmarking I can be found working away on it to run cables to give a cleaner look. Computers make me happy.

1 - Research/Information - facts on any subject, including information on where this information resides
2 - Communication - access to the broadest range of people/ideas/opinions possible, from the girl next door to the guy in across the world who makes doors and the ability to show them what you’re seeing over any distance
3 - Speed/Efficiency - just getting more done in less time, control over the most efficient way to get things done, so many tools for doing things it boggles the mind
4 - Entertainment - media for every taste in one place
5 - Digitization/Space/Portability - walls full of books, records, CDs and DVDs replaced by teeny tiny easily accessed ones and zeros
6 - Multitasking - switching tracks and doing “everything at once” from one location, blurring the lines between all the above

What six aspects of computing and technology have made your life easier and more enjoyable?

- 1.) NEWEGG.COM

- 2.) Unmatched graphical and audio power when playing games.

- 3.) Unbelievable access to communicate long distances to family and friends with out hassle.

- 4.) Amazing media garage of storage what is damn near limitless.

- 5.) Ability to customize a computer is amazing. For christ sakes, I have a wooden computer case

- 6.) The most important, access to what almost seems like unlimited information, how to fix a toaster, a camera, my car, maybe my house, plumbling, what to buy, what not to buy... simply remarkable.

What six aspects of computing and technology have made your life easier and more enjoyable?

(no particular order)
1. Communication - Staying in touch with family that you never get to see, or friends long past due for a hi or how have you been, Is an important thing to me. Computing and technology have made that easily accessible.

2. Gaming - This one is a no brain-er to those who've chosen the same aspect and understand where I'm coming from. Gaming is built into my human system as a need of life. Winding down after anything stressful, even if the game is stressful, is a must have.

3. Creativity - Computing, especially custom computing, gives you almost endless boundaries to make your vision a computing reality. Case modding, software development, or even just simply CPU overclocking puts your personal spin on things.

4. Multimedia - With computing and like tech, you can take your collection of 1000 compact discs and turn them into individual files on a computer, saving space, creating a more organizable location, and the music can be easier played with just a few clicks.

5. Information - Knowledge is power, and what easier way to obtain that knowledge now than with a computer. Kids doing reports in todays world takes a minuscule amount of time compared to the days of going to the library and checking out 5 books.

6. Shopping - Shopping over the internet is like drive-thru shopping for EVERYTHING without having to drive anywhere. Great deals where you know how to look, and great ease of access make this another life enjoying aspect of computing and technology.

Thanks for this awesome opportunity for an awesome computer Techgage.
