Spammer epidemic - Page 7

There were about 20 spam threads created per day, I'd say, and about 5 posts made to various threads. You just didn't see them because all of them were moderated (which is how I wanted it).

The vast majority of these spammers don't sign up to post, but rather to set their "homepage" to some shill site. I still am oblivious as to why they bother, as I was quite sure Google was wise to that.

Maybe you can install the recaptcha 2 mod for this forum that stops the spammers. I've also used it on my phpBB boards it brought a nice solution

Have you tried that?
